In the UK we are focused on NDT in oil and gas and power generation. Using different techniques including ultrasound, radiography, eddy currents and so on we can test the condition of welds or assess the extent of corrosion in steel and other materials. Access to the pipelines, vessels and other components on and offshore is often difficult and we have developed a very important rope access capability to permit this. We have about 250 technicians spread throughout the country plus our support staff and an even larger network of ad-hoc personnel and subcontractors. The team works on many clients sites in refineries, power stations, offshore oil & gas platforms and, of course, in our four offices in Aberdeen, Falkirk, Stockton and Great Yarmouth.
