Summary: Skills Training UK are looking for an experienced NDT Specialist on a part time, up to 3 days per week, who can deliver NDT training in a range of workplace locations as part of our Apprenticeship programme.
Skills Training UK is now the Largest NDT apprenticeship provider in the UK. Our level 2 Non- Destructive Testing Operator and level 3 Non-Destructive Testing Engineering Technician Apprenticeships were launched as part of the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) trailblazer, with both programmes offering certification in PCN, EN4179 and CSWIP to NDT level 2 standard.

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone who holds an NDT Level 2 Certification in one or more NDT Methods or Industry sectors. To be successful within the role you must have substantial industry experience delivering Non-Destructive Testing. This, as well as prior experience of coaching new members in NDT in the workplace to ensure that they meet their specific learning outcomes. Any familiarity with Apprenticeship Improvement based Frameworks/Standards and/or experience of dealing with the relevant Awarding Bodies would be a plus!
What experiences and/or qualifications do I need as an NDT Specialist?
-NDT Level 2/3 Qualifications in MT, PT or VT
-NDT Level 2/3 Qualifications in one or more of the complex NDT Methods UT, RT, ET
-Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths, English and ICT
-Prior experience of NDT delivery
-Prior experience of developing course materials to support additional learning needs and create new material.
